Come have a dip in Irish Oak Whiskey Barrels heated by our unique wood burners to a toasty temperature to suit all tastes, topped off with freshly harvested organic seaweed from the water surrounding the bay. Our Barrels are outdoors and situated right on the beach offering you one of the most spectacular views on the Connemara Coastline part of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Whether it is a lovely sunny day or a typical Irish soft rainy day, we hope you will join us and take advantage of a wonderful long luxurious soak in one of our Irish whiskey barrels.
Sessions last 45 minutes, and time slots are available as below. Tubs can be booked for single use (€45) or two-person sharing (€65).

Or the Spectacular Sundowner Sunset or Moonlight {Have you seen the sunsets here @ eco beach} you are welcome to bring your own prosecco whilst behaving responsibly. Pre-booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.

What do you need for a visit?
Basics such as swimming costume or shorts as preferred, towel and or robe, flip flops or similar and a smile of anticipation?

What are the benefits of seawater/seaweed bathing?
Bathing in salt water/seaweed is commonly recommended to relieve stress, ease achy muscles and treat irritated skin. Additionally, there is scientific evidence that bathing in salt water and/or seaweed has benefits in treating rheumatic diseases; can help with skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and other dry skin conditions; and can help in stimulating circulation, easing muscle cramps, relieve stiffness in joints, and soothe achy, overworked legs and feet.
Where is the seaweed from?
We harvest fresh seaweed locally from the shores of Eco Beach.

How hot are the hot tubs?
Generally, the tubs are heated to between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius. If you know your comfort zone regarding temperature, we will always do our best to accommodate.
We are registered as Carbon Neutral and we only use responsibly sourced wood.
Can I buy a hot tub whiskey barrel?
Yes, we sell aged oak whiskey barrels, along with all the necessary equipment. We deliver throughout the island of Ireland.

Do you host groups or events?
Yes, we can facilitate groups of family or friends. Max group number is 12.
Some tips – Be Responsible – Stay Safe
Health & Safety
• Children aged 12 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian whilst using the hot tubs at all times.
• We strongly recommend you drink plenty of water during your Seaweed Hot Tub experience to keep yourself hydrated before, during and after your experience.
• We do not recommend drinking alcohol, your use is entirely at your own risk.
• If you are pregnant, please consult your doctor/GP before using our hot tubs.
• Our tubs are Chemical free and all Natural
• If you suffer from hypertension or any other treated medical condition, please consult your doctor/GP before using our hot tubs.
As a general rule of thumb, most hot tub sessions last 45 minutes. If after 45 minutes you want to keep soaking, we recommend stepping out of the tub to allow your body to adjust and rehydrate, rest for a period and then enter the hot tub again.
A good laugh and a long sleep are said to be good cures for life’s tribulations, however, add in a long luxurious relaxing soak in our tubs and you are sure to let life’s tribulations soak/float away…..
